I don’t know if it’s just me, but right out of the box this felt cheap. The build feels really flimsy, and I was expecting it to feel a bit more solid.

I bought this thinking it would be easy to hook up with my current receiver and mixer, but it just really didn’t play nice with my setup. I tried a few different cables and messed around with the settings, but I still couldn’t get proper sound out of it. Support was okay, but they mostly just told me to check the manual, which didn’t really help much. I ended up returning it. Maybe it works fine for other setups, but it wasn’t a good fit for mine.

My signal keeps cutting out way too often, and it’s frustrating. I’ve tried dealing with it, but it feels like I’m just getting passed along like a ticket number instead of someone actually looking into the problem.

I mean, the mic does work, so I’m not saying it’s totally useless or anything. But the audio just sounds kind of thin to me, and every now and then there’s this weird hiss that’s hard to ignore. Maybe I’m being picky, but for the price, I expected it to sound better.

I don’t know if I was expecting too much, but the accessories that came with it were basic. It didn’t really include the things I actually needed, which was kind of disappointing. Maybe that’s normal, but it felt like there should’ve been a bit more included.

I reached out to Phenyx Pro support because I was having an issue with my mic. To be fair, they did get back to me and eventually helped me figure it out, so it wasn’t a bad experience. But it took a few days, and I had to send a follow-up before things really moved along. Decent support overall, just kind of annoying when you’re waiting around for answers.

I actually liked this mic when I first started using it. The sound was decent and it seemed like it would do the job. But the battery life has been disappointing. It says it should last longer, but mine drains way faster than I expected. This is where it got annoying: I was using it during a small event and had to stop in the middle to recharge it. After that, I just couldn’t really trust it. The mic itself is okay, but constantly worrying about the battery makes it hard to recommend.

The shipping was frustrating. It took way longer than I expected, and the tracking barely updated, so I was just kind of stuck wondering where my order was. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely annoying. Anyway, the suspense was not thrilling.

I picked this up assuming it would be fine for small gigs, but the wireless range was disappointing. I wasn’t expecting anything crazy, but the signal started dropping out much sooner than I thought it would, even without much blocking it. I ended up having to stay close the whole time, which kind of defeats the purpose of going wireless. Definitely didn’t live up to my expectations.

The return took way longer than I expected, and the warranty support didn’t really help much either. Frustrating experience overall :/

I felt like I walked into this with high hopes and walked out wondering what just happened. For the price I paid, I expected way more, but what I got felt underwhelming. It wasn’t a total disaster, but it definitely didn’t feel worth the money.
